This panning live webcam displays the largest of the two city beaches in San Sebastian. This may not be Spain's first choice of surfspot since it can get a bit crowded, is a bit sheltered and works best on swell from north west. But when the conditions allows for surfing it is a good beginners spot. The beach is surrounded by very steep cliffs which gives a sences of drama to this place. The island in the middle of the bay is called Isla de Santa Clara and is also a popular tourist destination with a small beach that is only revealed during low tide. Add the city pulse, great food and festivals and you will have the complete package for a pleasant surf trip!
