The beach, which is reached from the port of Ponza passing through a tunnel from the Roman era, is the largest (500 meters) and spectacular of all the Pontine archipelago, dominated by an imposing wall that the wind and the sea have worked up to make a lunar landscape. For several years the beach is closed to the risk of collapse, but more recently the City is working to speed up the reopening. Despite the limitation in the use it is quite busy especially on summer weekends. To fully appreciate the beauty of the bay we recommend a visit out of season and, possibly, from the sea.

Is the webcam online?
There are many reasons for why a webcam is offline. It could be momentarily interruptions in communication, service windows, mice chewing on a cord or just about
any reason you might think of. It is very difficult to track these conditions with perfect accuracy.
The online information that you see in the caminfo screen is
information retrieved from the webcam operators. This information is downloaded once every 24 hours and should be seen as an indication only.
"Online?" means that we don't have any information on the webcam's current status.
